Do you remember anything from sex ed?
If you’re like most then your biggest takeaway from high school sex ed was to not get pregnant.
What about your marriage prep class?
Maybe you remember someone lecturing on using NFP instead of contraception, but that’s probably all you’ve retained.
You’ll remember this class.
In this course, we’ll cover a ton of the stuff both the other classes left out. Sure, we’ll cover Catholic teachings on sex, but we’ll focus on all the stuff you haven’t already heard about. We’ll also cover some basic reproductive biology, but also get into the psychology of sex. Best of all, we’ll cover things like how to initiate (and how not to initiate), foreplay, positions, reaching orgasm, and aftercare.

The Essential Parts of Marital Intimacy
Taken from the full Sex Ed for Married Catholics course, this lesson explores the four essential types of marital intimacy—spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical—highlighting how each is interconnected and vital for a fulfilling marriage.
The Biology and Psychology of Sex
Taken from the full Sex Ed for Married Catholics course, these lessons dive into the nuts and bolts of human sexual intercourse. From anatomy to the sexual response cycle, and from orgasms to Freud and Kinsey, learn everything you didn't know you needed to know about how sex works.
Catholic Teachings on Sex
This section of SEMC begins with the sacramental theology of marraige. It then explores moral theology, covering the marital act, marital debt, common questions on intimacy, and sins against marital chastity, guiding couples toward virtuous and holy marital love.
