Catholic Intimacy Internship (Remote, Part-Time, Paid)

Flexible start date | Possibility of transition to full-time | Stipend + hourly compensation for sessions

Catholic Intimacy is seeking a mission-aligned intern to support our coaching work with Catholic couples and individuals navigating sexual ethics, marital intimacy, and relationship growth. This role offers a rare opportunity to receive theological formation, pastoral training, and practical experience in the field of Catholic relationship and sex coaching/education.

About the Internship

This part-time, remote internship is ideal for upper-level undergraduate/graduate students or recent graduates interested in theology, mental health, Catholic ministry, or sexuality studies. Interns will:

  • Complete our Sex Ed for Married Catholics course as part of onboarding

  • Observe and assist with private coaching sessions and group programs

  • Assist in course creation

  • Research and write articles on Catholic sexual ethics, intimacy, and relational challenges (at least one article per month)

  • Support administrative, content planning, and marketing efforts (based on company needs and intern’s interests/skills)

  • Receive ongoing mentorship in theology, coaching, and ministry work

Time Commitment & Compensation

  • Flexible hours; part-time (5–15 hours/week depending on season and availability)

  • Internship includes a stipend for training hours and an hourly rate for client-facing sessions and eligible work projects

  • Fully remote; occasional synchronous team meetings and session shadowing

Requirements

  • A strong marriage

  • At least three years completed in a relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Catholic theology, philosophy, psychology, nursing, pre-med, social work, etc.)

  • Strong writing and communication skills; professional discretion and emotional intelligence

  • Deep personal alignment with Catholic teaching on sexuality, marriage, and human dignity

  • Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing and willing to sign the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium
