Catholic Intimacy’s 2024 Year-in-Review

As we close the chapter on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the growth, challenges, and countless blessings this year has brought. Catholic Intimacy continues to be a space for married couples to grow closer to each other and God, building healthy, holy, and intimate relationships rooted in faith. This year has been one of expansion, resilience, and exciting steps forward.

Celebrating Milestones

Content That Resonates
This year, we published 31 articles, including two insightful guest posts, covering topics that matter most to Catholic couples navigating the journey of intimacy and connection. From practical advice to faith-based inspiration, these resources have helped thousands of readers strengthen their marriages.

Coaching Success
We had the privilege of coaching 24 couples through 113 personalized sessions, providing tailored guidance to help them overcome challenges and deepen their relationships.

Reaching More Hearts
Our website reached an incredible milestone with 35,000 unique users this year. On social media, we grew our presence with 330 followers on Facebook, 207 on Instagram, and 70 on X (formerly Twitter), building a community that continues to engage and support each other.

Expanding Educational Resources
The Sex Ed for Married Catholics course made significant progress, with eight of the eighteen lessons completed. This course is designed to provide married couples with the tools and understanding to foster intimacy within the framework of their faith.

Building Communities
The Husband’s Facebook Group grew to 17 members, and the Wives’ Facebook Group expanded to 26 members. These communities offer a safe and supportive space for sharing, learning, and growing together in faith and intimacy.

Practical Tools for Growth
We also released two new workbooks this year: Fostering Intimacy and Yes, No, Maybe. We also created Romantic Coupons for Him and Her. These practical resources have already helped countless couples navigate sensitive conversations and strengthen their bonds.

A Special Thank You

We are deeply grateful to Rick Erisman of Catholic Coach Training and Emily Ricci of Gloriam Marketing, whose unwavering support and collaboration have been vital to our mission. We also extend our thanks to the Catholic Life Coaches community and the Australian Military Ordinariate for their referrals and encouragement throughout the year.

Professional Growth and New Achievements

This year marked an important milestone as I earned ABS certification as a Certified Sexologist. This professional growth underscores our commitment to providing expert guidance rooted in both faith and science. Further, I completed a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.

Overcoming Challenges

One of the year’s biggest challenges was balancing this ministry with the demands of full-time National Guard orders. The experience underscored the importance of resilience, faith, and community. Despite these challenges, the mission of Catholic Intimacy continued to thrive, thanks to the grace of God and the support of our growing community.

Looking Ahead to 2025

The future is brimming with opportunities and new initiatives:

2024 has been a year of immense growth and learning, despite its challenges.
